Wayne was so pleased that my wife bought one of his albums,
he offered to take her with him to his ranch...she thought about it; but I
guess she probably figured that since it was still dark, she wouldn't be
able to see it anyhow, so she respectfully declined his offer.
When she told me about it later, it was clear that she really wanted to see
his ranch, so I told her to wait until daylight and we'd both go see it.

Special "Wayne Newton Commemorative Stars" were given out at a private party
for Wayne at the Stardust Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas on January 24, 2000.
They're gold plated and weigh over a pound!
Only fifty to seventy-five of these beautiful pieces exist!
They're exquisite souvenirs; I acquired one recently through an auction --
my wife and I are very proud of it!
